Training Classes

People who know life-saving techniques could help improve outcomes for people experiencing emergency health problems caused by sudden accidents or illnesses. Lady of the Sea has trained educators who can provide both clinical and non-clinical training to use in these emergency situations before the arrival of professional medical help.


We currently offer the following training:
  • Stop the Bleed
    - Course offers multiple ways to control severe bleeding
     
  • BLS - Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
    - 2 options: Full course or a hands-on skills session
     
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support
     
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
     
  • Heartsaver First Aid
     
  • Heartsaver First Aid / CPR / AED
    - 2 options: Full course or a hands-on skills session
     
  • Other Various Topics are Available
     

Wellness Events

Lady of the Sea can provide outreach through Wellness Fairs at community events or organizations. We can check basic vital signs, administer vaccines, and do simple testing to give people a better understanding of their current health status. Identifying health risk factors can lead to improving quality of life.


We currently offer the following:
  • Glucose Check
    - Measures the amount of sugar in blood
     
  • Pulse Oximetry Check
    - Measures oxygen saturation in blood
     
  • Hemoglobin A1C Check
    - Measures the average blood sugar level over the last 3 months
     
  • Blood Pressure, Heart Rate Check, Temperature Check
     
  • Flu vaccine
    - (others may be available depending on availability)
     
  • Cholesterol Testing
    - (fingerstick)
     
  • Body Metric Measurements
    - (fat, muscle, body composition)
