*** This session usually occurs on the third Thursday of the month at 8:00 am. If you are interested in a full in-person class, please call us to schedule. Classes can occur during the day or evening. We also offer ACLS and PALS skills check offs, CPR/AED/First Aid for non-medical people, Stop the Bleed, and even classes conducted at your worksite. Take charge of your health one meal at a time. 4-part series. Class dates: 11/4, 11/11, 11/18, and 12/2. This class is to help adults with diabetes or who are at risk of becoming diabetic to learn how to manage their conditions through menu planning, portion control, label reading, and physical activity. Family members and caregivers are invited. Participants can sample helpful foods using concepts taught in class. $10 to attend. To be presented by Becky Gautreaux, RD, LDN with the LSU Ag Center.
