FULL TIME Dialysis Tech in Renal Dialysis
The Patient Care Technician provides direct care to assigned dialysis patients under the direction of an RN. Maintains electronic medical records accurately through documentation of care and observations.
  1. High school graduate or equivalent.
  2. Certified as a Hemodialysis technician or must complete a RN directed training program for patient care dialysis technicians, approved by the Medical Director and Governing Body, obtaining certification within 18 months of employment.
  3. Certified in CPR.
  4. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  5. Possesses positive customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
  1. Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds approximately 5% of the day.
  2. Employee will be sitting approximately 15% of the day.
  3. Employee will be standing and walking approximately 60% of the day.
  4. Employee will be pushing and pulling approximately 10% of the day.
  5. Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending approximately 5% of the day.
  6. Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level approximately 5% of the day.
