Position:
FULL-TIME MT/MLT in Laboratory
Purpose:
Perform the duties of a Medical Technologist following state and federal laws and hospital policies.

*This position is eligible to participate in the Full-time Employee Reduced Benefits (FERB) program. Contact HR for details.

*** This position is eligible for a Recruitment Incentive:
New Graduate: $10,000
Experienced: $15,000
Finder's Fee: $2000
Qualifications:
  1. BS or Associate Degree in Medical Technology, or required experience as acceptable under CLIA'88.
  2. Registry by an accredited agency.
  3. Current Louisiana License.
  4. Basic computer literacy.
  5. Current CPR certification (and re-certified annually).
  6. Able to work all shifts.
  7. Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  8. Possesses positive customer service skills.
Working Conditions:
  1. Employee will be lifting and carrying up to 10% of the day.
  2. Employee will be sitting 10% of the day.
  3. Employee will be standing and walking 45% of the day.
  4. Employee will be twisting, climbing, kneeling, stooping, and bending 25% of the day.
  5. Employee will be reaching at or above shoulder level 10% of the day.
